For the Word of God is living and active.

Sharper than any double-edged sword,

It penetrates even to dividing soul

and spirit, joins and marrow; it judges

the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. -  Hebrews 4:12

 

 

My Child,

 

The Bible is not an ordinary book. It's my Word, and My Word is alive with
power! Through its pages, I teach you, help you, comfort you, and make you
strong. My Word is a drink of cold water when you're thirsty or a safe place
when you're afraid. It's a warm fireside when you're cold or a road map when
you're lost.

 

You can know what is in other books, but My Word is a book that knows what
is in you! So read it when you need wisdom or hope. Open its pages every
day, and you'll begin to see that My Word is for you, right where you are.
