I'm Not the Old Man upstairs.

Isaiah 59:1 Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save;
neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: 

 

 

Dear Child

 

When ever you think of me do you think of your grandfather? I'm pretty old,
so lots of people think of Me as an old human being. I'm not. I sent My Son,
Jesus to show you My character. 

 

Jesus was bold and strong - a carpenter from the age of twelve until thirty.
After He entered His ministry, He defeated demons, He calmed a storm, and He
turned over the tables of the money changers in the temple. 

 

Think about Me as Jesus' Father, I created the whole world. I defeated
entire armies with a wave of My hand. If you think I am weak or deaf you've
got the wrong God, my friend. I hear you, and I am just waiting to help you.
Call out to Me. I'm not your grandfather or your great grandfather. I'm your
Father, the Ruler of the universe. And I've got the power. 

 

 

Your heavenly Father, 

 

God.
